Overall Accountability 

The Brand Education Ambassador provides support to the Sales team, by travelling to specialty pet stores in their designated region and educating their customers on the Big Country Raw brand, as well as raw feeding in general. The Brand Education Ambassador will be responsible for setting up and tearing down collateral for each event and being available to customers to provide information or answer any questions they may have. As a first point of contact with prospective customers, the successful candidate(s) must handle each situation with the understanding that they represent the company, its products, brand, and values. Brand Education Ambassador will be required to complete paid training sessions both during the onboarding process, and as necessary throughout the year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Travel to specialty pet stores in your designated area, to provide an informational experience to prospective customers.

• Keep toolkit prepared, up to date, and in good repair.

• Set-Up and Tear-Down of all collateral in the toolkit as required for store visits.

• Provide information and respond to queries regarding Big Country Raw products, as well as the general benefits of feeding a raw diet.

• Promote our brand by educating prospective customers on what sets us apart from other raw food manufacturers.

• Determine any questions or concerns that are best directed towards a specialist, and refer to our Customer Service Representatives, Nutritionist, or Account Managers as applicable.

• Participate in initial and ongoing training provided by Big Country Raw to deliver the best possible service to individuals inquiring about our product and/or raw feeding.

 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid G2 driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle.

• Reliable and punctual, with a friendly and professional demeanor

• Ability to absorb/engage in educational material, and verbally communicate knowledge to others.

• Availability to attend at least 2 events per month (minimum 3 hours in duration).

• Experience with raw feeding and/or animal health is an asset; enthusiasm is a must!
