Ren’s is a fast-paced, innovative growing industry leader in the pet retail business with an exceptional marketing and online program to support it. Our main marketing activities include the flyer program, eblast program, Ren’s Rewards loyalty group, partners & charities, plus significant online, social, & digital advertising to support a thriving ecommerce business.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the company goals through creation and production of cross-channel marketing that enhances our brand

· Work closely with marketing team to execute promotional campaigns that drive traffic and sales

· Ability to create and execute engaging video content or animated gifs for TikTok, YouTube, paid campaigns, and digital assets along with video editing skills.

· Help support in maintaining our image library through skills in photoshop editing, retouching and clipping.

· Maintain knowledge of brand standards by clearly showcasing the brand and ensuring design solutions adhere to our initiatives

· Manage design projects from concept through execution in a timely manner within the project schedule and deadlines

· Provide a strong attention to detail and quality of work under the fast-past retail environment

· Work on a range of projects, including but not limited to digital and print that range across website assets, email, paid campaigns and ads, social media, in-store signage, flyers, video

· Responsible for archiving and maintaining design libraries for increased productivity of design creation, templates and source files.

· Pre-flight and prepare all materials for print and digital formats for optimal results

· Ensure all designs reflect Ren’s brand guidelines and maintain a premium, pet-friendly aesthetic

Key Requirements:

· BA in Graphic Design or related field

· 7+ strong design portfolio that demonstrates experience in advertising, design or retail

· Proficient in MS Suite: PowerPoint, Excel, Word

· Skilled in Adobe Creative programs: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, XD, etc.

· Experience with using project management software like Asana or ClickUp

· Exceptional skills in design, layout and typography

· Strong conceptual ability and attention to detail

· Ability to understand the aesthetic & technical requirements of digital marketing: paid ads, web, email, & social platforms

· Creative understanding and experience with brand guidelines and cohesive campaigns

· Can easily adapt from print to digital

· Experience and understanding of building assets with use of die lines and skills in developing new die lines for various print marketing

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with the ability to work independently when needed

· Strong problem solving, communication & collaboration skills

· Ability to prioritize and manage workload efficiently

· Organized, with good time-management skills and able to anticipate needs

· Passion for design (digital & print), in-store marketing, retail and staying current with design trends

Nice to Have Skills, Not Required:

· Illustration and photography skills

· Experience working on flyer programs

· Experience working on packaging design

· Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics & UX best practices for web collaboration

· Experience designing for multi-location retail brands
