Role Description

Our Quality Assurance Coordinator is both the leader and the hands-on expert behind all things Quality.

As the sole Quality team member, you’ll fully own & execute our quality management systems - from designing and refining processes to performing daily quality checks. This hands-on, autonomous role is ideal for someone equally comfortable on the production floor and managing documentation and audits.

You’ll monitor & document production activities, analyze data, and communicate quality outcomes, while acting as our in-house expert to ensure our HACCP-based food safety system is followed with care and consistency. You’ll also help lead new quality initiatives tied to our growth plans - shaping the systems that support expansion while upholding the standards we’re proud of.

What You'll Do

• Own and Lead Our QA Program: You’ll take full ownership of our quality systems - maintaining and auditing all aspects of our quality management system, HACCP plan, and GMP protocols. As the sole QA employee, you’ll operate with a high level of autonomy while ensuring compliance and excellence across the board.

• Work Hands-On Every Day: You’ll be on the production floor daily, conducting in-process checks, inspections, and verifications. From raw ingredients to finished goods, you’ll uphold & elevate the quality standards that set our brand apart - ensuring every product reflects the care and integrity we’re known for.

• Be a Problem-Solver and Change-Maker: Investigate deviations or quality concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Your insights will drive smarter, more efficient processes.

• Manage Quality Administration with Precision: Maintain clear, accurate documentation of all required checks, deviations, and certifications. You’ll use quality data and metrics to monitor performance and support a culture of continuous improvement.

• Collaborate and Influence Cross-Functionally: Work closely with production and warehouse teams to reinforce and elevate quality & food safety standards. You’re not just a quality expert - you’re an important voice in a highly engaged team.

• Shape What Comes Next: You’ll have the opportunity to be a key contributor to new quality projects and the evolution of our systems. What We’re Looking For:

• Food Safety expertise: HACCP certification and working knowledge of GMPs, food safety, and sanitation procedures.

• Hands-On QA experience: Previous quality assurance work in a food production environment is required - you know what it means to be on the floor and in the details.

• Organized & Detail-Oriented: You bring strong administrative skills, excel at documentation, file organization, and writing clear, practical SOPs.

• Independent & Accountable: You thrive at working independently, take ownership of your work, and are confident making quality decisions in real time.

• Team-Oriented: While you work autonomously, you value being part of a team and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment.
