Position Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Sales, you will be developing and executing comprehensive plans to close, service & support strategic Key Account partners in Canada.
This position is a fully remote, qualified candidate must live in Canada.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Sales & support
Responsible for maintaining and building long-standing relationships within accounts
Target & close new strategic partnerships
Create & implement comprehensive plans to ensure profitable sales growth through new product placement, training, promotions, and marketing efforts including ecomm and social strategies
Serve as the primary contact for selected key accounts and the rest of the ZIWI team
Generate forecasts and regular progress reports to track success & profitability
Lead quarterly business review meetings
Develop and execute annual sales plans for select key accounts
Actively participate in forecasting revenue and expense plans
Develop profitable sell-thru strategies; achieve sales goals & drive growth for ZIWI and our partners
Contract negotiation, ensure sales growth & a strong ROI on all investments
Cross team collaboration to support sales growth
Ensure that the marketing team, field team, and inventory team are aligned to provide your key accounts with the highest level of service
Process Improvement
Identify areas of opportunity for process improvement for your Key Accounts, and execute changes
Perform other duties as required to maintain independent store growth in the territory
Ownership of total business orders, revenue and cash targets
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements
Excellent communication proficiency including written, verbal and presentation skills
Broad based financial and business acumen
Strong interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills
Superior organizational and time management skills
Well-developed negotiation skills, and capacity to independently and creatively solve problems
Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial environment which moves at a rapid pace
Ability to identify and manage competing priorities, requiring multi-tasking abilities
Highly developed project management skills
Minimum of 4 years of key account management experience at head office level
Demonstrable history of delivering superior results in a performance-based company
Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed organization and develop the key relationships, influence and the support required to gain consensus for new ideas and/or recommendations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must be creative and strategic, with the ability to work on tactical issues in the short-term while maintaining vision for the long-term
Must display a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and sense of urgency and a strong desire to learn
Budget management and strong understanding of ROI
Travel is required 50% of the time
