Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist role serves to develop and execute impactful digital marketing efforts across multiple channels. By conducting research to inform content creation, contributing to development of written and illustrated content, participating in email marketing, and analyzing data, this role contributes to multiple campaigns spanning the entire product portfolio. Working collaboratively with fellow team members, this multi-faceted position reports to the Director of Customer Engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, or related field.
2 years of experience as a Marketing professional.
Copywriting and editing skills for creating engaging content.
Knowledge and experience in conducting keyword research to inform content creation and optimization.
Experience with email marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud for email list management and campaign creation.
Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision-making.
Familiar with various CMS tools, adept at maintaining and updating website content.
Experience with customer journey mapping to identify touch points, pain points, and opportunities for improving the overall customer experience.
Must be able to use AI technologies to ideate creative and streamline workflow.
Experience in reading and writing HTML for email template creation.
Familiarity with project planning tools like Asana, Slack, and Basecamp.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sprout Social experience is a plus.
Familiarity with basic Meta Advertising strategies is a plus.
SEMRush experience is a plus.
Experience with Shopify is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities
Gain comprehensive product knowledge to develop effective communication strategies and enhance brand visibility.
Conduct keyword research to inform content creation and optimization.
Evaluate existing marketing materials and identify areas for enhancement.
Assist in the development and implementation of email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Utilize HTML for the creation and optimization of email templates and content blocks.
Assist in planning, setting up, optimizing, and editing all blog posts on weruva.com.
Assist in email list management and campaign creation using Salesforce EmailStudio.
Create compelling written content through copywriting and editing to drive brand growth.
Maintain consistency in brand voice and identity across all digital marketing channels.
Assist in creation and scheduling of content on social media channels as needed.
Stay updated on emerging digital marketing trends and technologies.
Work with the Director of Customer Engagement on marketing strategy, content planning, and implementation timelines.
Help create and document standard operating procedures for marketing processes.

Physical Demands
The duties are of a professional workstation nature, typically sedentary with the normal occasions to lift approximately 20 pounds, kneel or squat, stand at length, and similar activities normal to a retail environment.
Working Conditions
This role is primarily based in a home office setting. Limited overnight travel is required to attend trade events, company meetings, field visits, or similar activity.
Performance Standards
All positions at Weruva begin with a 90-day probationary period and include a 30, 60 and 90-day review session with their supervisor. While feedback and direction will be provided as needed on an ongoing basis, an annual performance appraisal provides opportunity to measure progress and address opportunities.
90-day plan:
Develop a deep understanding of the company's products, target audience, and historical campaigns by learning from department leaders, and marketing team members.
Conduct a thorough audit of the existing digital marketing efforts and develop a plan for optimization and implementation of best practices.
Work alongside key stakeholders to develop a marketing plan that aligns with the company's objectives and long-term goals.
Work alongside the Director of Marketing to begin development of SOPs and streamlined processes for social media initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
